AMU Student Login
Since the time AMU Student Login has been introduced there is a huge improvement. If you are a new student at American Military University, you may be unsure of how to login to the university’s official website (AMU). Logging in is actually simple. Typically, the login process is identical to logging into a social media account. However, given that it is their first time accessing the AMU website, some individuals may still be unsure of how to proceed.
By visiting www.amu.apus.edu, you can access your account on the American Military University website. There will be numerous elements on that page, which will likely make it difficult to locate the Login menu. Click the Login menu in the upper-right corner of the homepage to log in. Then, a dropdown menu will appear from which you must select Student, Faculty, or Alumni. Because you are a student and will use the student login, you must choose Student. After selecting this, the login page will load.
How to sign in You only need to enter your Student ID or Faculty ID and password. After completing the fields, click the Submit button. Then, what should we do if we forget our login credentials? If this occurs, you can click the link located beneath the Submit button. If you have misplaced your ID, click Forgot ID and then select Student or Faculty. Following your selection of Student, you will be prompted to enter your last name, social security number (last four digits), and date of birth. After that, click the Submit button. Contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1.877.755.2787 if you do not have a Social Security Number (press 1).
What should we do then if we forget our password? Under the Submit button on the login page, the Forgot Password link is available. Similar to when you forget your username, you will be required to choose between Student and Faculty Member after clicking Forgot Password. Choose Student and several fields will appear, including your Student ID, your Last Name, your Social Security Number (last four digits), and your date of birth. Then, click the Submit button.
Marine Corps officer James P. Etter established American Military University in 1991. He broke new ground by providing career-relevant distance education to a mobile population of military students with unique educational needs. Over the next decade, there will be an increase in the number of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to prepare students for leadership roles within the military and for post-military careers.
Currently, the university system is one of the largest providers of online higher education, offering more than 190 academic programs to students worldwide. This university’s mission is to provide high-quality higher education with an emphasis on educating the nation’s military and public service communities through online programs that are respected, accessible, relevant, affordable, and student-centered. These are designed to prepare students for leadership and service in a diverse, global society.
