Guide to Accessing the CSUF Student Health Portal

After clicking the link, the login page will be displayed. Please enter your username and password here. The username can be obtained after registering and entering your CWID.

Logging in to CSUF also necessitates Two-Factor Authentication. It applies to all enrolled students, including those enrolled in Extension/Open University and OLLI. The DUO 2-factor authentication is also required for all incoming applicants.

When you log in to campus services to access certain sections, the DUO 2FA will ask you to confirm your personal information via email, mobile phone, or mobile app.

How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication for CSUF student portal?

Go to https://my.fullerton.edu/accounts/csufduomfa/ to configure DUO 2FA. . Please enter your CSUF username and password here. Then, click the “Login” link. Here are multiple configuration steps for 2FA:

Registering for Dua 2FA

When you sign in to the CSUF portal, you will see a screen titled “Duo Mobile Activation Required.” Here, you have the option to set up Duo Mobile immediately, bypass the Duo Mobile Setup process, or update your cell phone number.

Authentication utilizing Duo 2FA

When prompted, you must enter your CSUF username and password to authenticate your 2FA. After that, click the “Login” link. Duo will then require you to authenticate with your default device. You will then be required to select an authentication method.

Here, you must select the authentication method you’d like to use: receive a push notification from the Duo Mobile app, receive a phone call from Duo, or enter a passcode. Then, to select an additional device you have added to Duo, you must click the drop-down menu. Remember to always check the ‘Remember me for 5 days’ box, regardless of which method you choose. Therefore, you will not be required to log into DUO on the browser for five days.

Configuring the Duo Mobile App on Your Mobile Device

To configure the Duo Mobile application on your mobile device, you must first download and install it. The Duo Mobile application is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Open a web browser to the Student Duo Setup application. You may need to photograph a QR code using your mobile device. Thus, you cannot access the Student Duo setup app from your mobile device.

In the next step, you must enter your username and password. Check the box that reads “I am not a robot” and then click the “Login” button.

Next, you will need to select the ‘My Settings & Devices’ option. You must then select one of the options ‘Call Me,’ ‘Enter a Passcode,’ or ‘Send Me a Push’.

Then, click the “I don’t have access to my device” link. Option to obtain a one-time authentication code. After selecting this option, you must provide your personal information. Next, click “Submit.” A code will be sent to your personal email address. Select ‘Continue to add device’ then.

Undoubtedly, you will be transported to the Duo Screen again. Here, ensure that you click ‘My Settings & Devices’ once more. Then, click the ‘Enter a Passcode’ button and enter the code sent to your email address.

Click ‘Text Me new codes’ after clicking ‘Enter a Passcode,’ then enter the code. Click the “Sign In” button.

Then, click the ‘Device Options’ link next to your mobile device. Click the “Activate Duo Mobile” button. Select the device type from the drop-down menu and then click “Continue.” Select the option ‘I Have Duo Mobile Installed’.

After selecting this option, a QR code will appear that can be scanned with the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device. Then, launch the Duo Mobile application on your mobile device. Click ‘Add account’ or the plus sign (+) located at the top.

If prompted, you must click “OK” to allow a Duo Mobile camera access. Then, to scan the QR code, you must hold your mobile device up to the screen of your computer or laptop. Your mobile device is now connected to the Duo Mobile app. To save changes on your laptop/computer, you must click “Continue.”

Congratulations! You authenticate the Duo Mobile App on your mobile device successfully.
