  • Enrollment

To become officially registered with UCI, two distinct procedures must be completed. The first is enrollment in classes, and the second is tuition and fees payment.

By logging into WebReg with your UCInetID and password, you can register for classes. When the enrollment period begins, you have 488 hours of full access. You will be restricted to non-primetime access once the allotted time has expired, and other students will now have access. Please consult the Quarterly Calendar if you wish to view the enrollment periods and other significant dates.

Before enrolling, remember to consult and adhere to your school’s or program’s academic advising guide. Prior to enrolling in classes, you may consult with an academic advisor about the course, its prerequisites, and other pertinent information.

Even before tuition and fees are paid, everyone can enroll in classes. However, it is still recommended to pay them on time in order to avoid having classes dropped and incurring late fees.

  • Tuition and Charges

This section displays the total amount of tuition, fees, and charges. Everything is posted to your account or billing statement. They are estimated based on the amounts currently approved. This may not be the final number. It may be altered by the Regents of the University of North Carolina, and the increase or decrease of State funding and other developments may have an impact on the total amount. Once more, the one displayed on-screen may differ from the actual one.

  • Grades and Final Exams

In the Grades and Final Exams section, you can view both your current grade and your grade history. In addition, you can also view the exam schedules.

  • Graduation

This section contains all information regarding the graduation. You must submit an Application for Graduation to the best academic advising office during the first quarter of your senior year if you wish to obtain a degree. Remember to submit it earlier than the advising office’s deadline. If you missed more than one term of certification, you will graduate in absentia. Apply for graduation using Student Access.

After receiving degree certification, which typically occurs six weeks after the end of the quarter, a filing known as Graduation in Absence will be made on your behalf. Even though there are no additional tuition and fees, there is still a loss because a readmission fee must be paid if the period of absence was longer than one certifying term.
